JUBAH FOR ME

I bought this fabric from gwanjang market not knowing it was not enough yards as I wanted and paid. Lesson learnt, to check with the seller first before paying. So I need to use the lace to cover the sewing parts at the arm.

NO.8 (10 BLOUSES/JUBAH CHALLENGE)

Again, abaya for me. This time is royal blue. It was hard to find this colour and this material. I bought the fabric in Gwanjang market for only 2 and half yard x 58". I know I just tawakkal to buy this. When coming back home, I tried to put together with my abaya pattern and it seemed to fit well. I bought the blue beads lace from online and still have some more! Looking out for a new project with it.

NO.7 (10 BLOUSES/JUBAH CHALLENGE)

Again, i used korea fabric but does not really know the type. Got from gwanjang market and the arm lace i got from dongdaemun market. This fabric is a bit thick and heavy but look flowy. I made it extra large to avoid the body cutting.

DAMIA FLORAL TOP

I made this Top for her school winter concert. You can read more story here about this. I love this fabric,from Gwanjang market. Don't know what type of fabric but I loveeeeee it. But hey, I made the skirt too..hehe..

DRAWSTRING POUCH AND WATERPROOF LUNCH BAG

I made these when Damia started her school. A small drawstring pouch for her spare clothes at school and a waterproof lunch bag. Since I already have one for Daniel from Tuppaware, I brought from Malaysia so I decided to make one similar design for Damia. It suits the lunch boxes that we already have.

 

As for this pouch, I just used Bangkok cotton that I bought in Malaysia and for the lunch box I used waterproof material that I bought in Dongdaemun Market.

 

Will definitely explore more on the waterproof material.

A SKIRT FOR ME

Actually i have sewn a few skirts for me but forgot to take picture.this one was done earlier today. I love the material.it is so comfy a bit heavy which is nice to make nicely flowing down and the most important thing is no ironing needed!.i got this fabric from Gwanjang market! I love that market coz i could get different material of fabric with a cheaper price than the Dongdaemun fabric market.

 

MY KOREAN COTTON COLLECTION

As I mentioned earlier, I am willing to share my Korean cotton collection that I have here. I just started my sewing activity and yet still collecting new fabrics. These are all what I have now for Korean Cotton and others (linen and oxford cotton) will be uploaded soon. I know it is not that much as for now but I will keep adding the pattern of course before going back for holiday to Malaysia on July, in shaa Allah.

 

I am not a fabric supplier or what, just a housewife and a simple crafter who's willing to share the craft material here. SPRING BLOUSE

Another Spring blouse for me. I have no choice right now but to choose this kind of color theme as here they are not so colourful as we are in Malaysia.

SIMPLE BLOUSE FOR ME

Another simple blouse for me. But this time I used a stretch cotton fabric. A bit sturdy but I like the pattern the most. I put some Korean cream lace near the hand. It was not part of the plan actually but due to my mistake when cutting the fabric, I had to lengthen that part by joining the fabric. To make it less obvious to be seen, I decided to put the lace. Ah, finally I could use the lace anyway. haha.

LIGHTWEIGHT JEANS BLOUSE

This was my first time ever sewing jeans material if I could recall. This was a medium weight jeans material for my Spring blouse. Last Spring was not so cold but I still need a cotton type material for my blouse. So this medium weight jeans was perfect. I got it from Gwanjang Market. Lepaslah, nak pakai sendiri kan..hehe..

NEW CUSHION CASES USING KOREAN OXFORD COTTON

Actually saya belum khatam lagi pasal kain2 di Korea ni. Tp ni saya ada jumpa satu jenis kain oxford katanya which is also banyak different types. Memandangkan this pattern is perfect for my house color tone, saya jahit new cushion cases. As for this moment, saya hanya jahit keperluan rumah kat sini dan keperluan saya dan anak-anak. Saya akan share some of my craft materials here, mane tahu kot ada Malaysian crafters who might interested. Boleh saya bawa balik July ni. Oh ye, saya sempat kirim kat kawan kat Malaysia untuk bawa label yg saya tempah kt sana. Label ini adalah pendorong untuk saya menjahit dan berkraf kembali. Saya hanya gunakan label ini untuk craft yang saya jahit di sini.hehe, saja pembakar semangat.hehe.

PEPLUM LONG BLOUSE

This was my peplum long blouse that I made last year's summer. I always wanna call this my summer collection. The material is chilly and comfortable for the hot weather. Actually I tried to find my size here but rarely found it offline. I have to get help from Malaysian Students here to help me to buy online for Plus Size clothes and for my size I have to buy XXXL. If I were to buy offline, if they have a big size, but the length did not up to my standard. I always love to wear modest down to the knee. Pendek kata, kena jahit lah.hehe. I have a friend here, she went to Gwanjang market to sew her baju kurung moden and the charge was KRW150,000 = RM480 plusminus la.her own material, she just showed to the Ahjumma (makcik) the design and the Ahjumma measured her measurement. Saya nak pengsan dengar. Boleh beli a pair of designer kurung moden kat Malaysia kot.hehe. So, knowing that, I have to start back my sewing activity.hehe.
